A Conklave, displaying some of the more sprite-ly members of the nature family

The Nature family or Plant family (Japanese Kanji: 植物 Hiragana: しょくぶつ Romanji: Shokubutsu) refers to the type of monsters Dragon Quest series that take the form of plants, flowers, fruits, fungi, as well as more fey-like creatures such as faeries and woodland spirits. In Dragon Quest XI and several of the Monsters spin-off titles it also includes bugs and sometimes even sea life.

Effective Skills and Weapons

As of IX, Axes will always deal an additional 10% damage to members of the nature family. The Poplar Toppler deals 50% more damage, but this does not stack with an axes innate effectiveness.
