Smashing Explosion Spell is a spell that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of Mage Popp's signature spells, unleashing a devastating magical explosion on a group of enemies.

Smashing Explosion Spell can be learned by Mage Popp at level 33 and costs 128 MP to cast. It has a range of two squares in front of him and inflicts major Bang-type spell damage to all enemies in a rectangular area of effect. Upgrading the spell increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to cast.
