Craggy Cave is a dungeon located in western Alefgard in both Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest III. It is an optional dungeon which holds various miscellaneous treasures.

The dungeon is the only optional dungeon in the game.
It is also noted as the location of the enigmatic warrior's ring, as well as the cursed necklace.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit | edit source]
The cave's only noteworthy feature is housing a prayer ring, which is handy for players who missed the opportunity to use the Mod Rod in the Super Secret Faerie Village.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit | edit source]
The cave's interior is more ruinous than in past depictions and there is a accomodating armful skulking about. The quality of the treasures is much higher than in earlier versions, making the optional dungeon worth exploring. In the ending sequence Robbin' 'Ood and his henchmen are shown exploring the Craggy Cave.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit | edit source]
The Craggy Cave is one of the locations that can be visited as part of Adventure in the DQ I World: Majellan during the limited True Dragon Quest I event. The Prestidigitator can be recruited there.
