The Magic circle is a boomerang in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
The magic circle is a chakram made from sharpened purple metal, with an inner circle of black and gold metal. On the inside is a gold S-shaped symbol and two green gemstones that increase the magic power of the wielder. A chakram is a throwing weapon from the Indian subcontinent in real life similar to a disc with a sharpened outer edge.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The Magic circle has an Attack bonus of +32, a Style bonus of +7, and a max MP and Weight bonus of +6. It has an equipment level of 35 and can be equipped by a Minstrel, Ranger, Sage, Item Master, Gadabout, Pirate, or Hermit. The boomerang can be crafted by a weapon blacksmith. Starting with Version 6.2, the amount of materials required to make one were reduced, making it easier to craft. Previously, it required six lumps of Silver ore, two Ethereal stones, an Equable emerald, and two Faerie flames.

Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]
The Magic circle has an Attack bonus of +32, a max MP bonus of +6, and a Charm bonus of +7. It can only be equipped by the Hero as a Ranger, Sage, or Gadabout. The boomerang can be crafted with the Fun-Size Forge.

The Magic circle has an Attack bonus of +37, a Blocking bonus of +8, and can only be equipped by Isla. It can be purchased for 5,500 gold from the weapon merchant on the Stonecloud after the events at Colissea and sold for 2,750 gold.
