The Faerie flame is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a magical flame left behind by spirits that is used as a crafting ingredient.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
Faerie flames are used as an ingredient for crafting level 40-43 weapons and armor. It can only be purchased from a material store for 1,000 gold.
Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below[edit | edit source]
Faerie flame can be dropped by Roseguardins and Stout trolls, received as a reward for defeating a Veteran Serpent of the Scales with gold clear time, or exchanged for 5 Mini medals each on the Stonecloud. It can be used to create Ace of spoils and the classic recipe for the Goddess ring in the Alchemy Pot and can be sold for 740 gold.
Dragon Quest Heroes II[edit | edit source]
Faerie flames are used as an ingredient to improve various accessories or sold for 370 gold. They can be dropped by Dark brownies and Float-o-copiers.
