Earth-Shattering Kaboom is a spell that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the signature spells of Peronel, the Princess of Moonbrooke, devastating a single foe with an explosive blast.

Earth-Shattering Kaboom can be learned by Peronel at level 38 and costs 115 MP to cast. It has a range of 3 squares away from her in any direction and deals major Bang-type spell damage to a single enemy and has a rare chance to greatly lower their DEF for 3 turns.

- In Dragon Quest II, the Princess of Moonbrooke is the first spellcaster in the series who can learn Kaboom.
- The spell's English name is a reference to the 1958 Warner Bros. animated short "Hare-Way to the Stars", starring the characters Marvin the Martian and Bugs Bunny. In the cartoon, Marvin's attempt to destroy Earth using dynamite for obstructing his view of Venus, but is thwarted by Bugs, prompting him to ask, "Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering kaboom!"
