The Dark star is a silver and purple pentagram-shaped boomerang that has a small chance to cast Oomph on the wielder at the start of battle.

The Dark star has an Attack bonus of +83, a Style bonus of +12, increases the wielder's Weight by 8, and boosts the wielder's spellcasting speed by 5%. It can be equipped by Minstrels, Rangers, Sages, Item Masters, Gadabouts, and Pirates as long as they are level 80.

The penultimate boomerang and most powerful boomerang that can be purchased, it increases Maribel's Attack by +144 and her magic power by +10. It costs 223,750 gold.
