Trammel Lash is a whip skill in the series. It damages an opponent and attempts to paralyse them.

Trammel Lash can be learned by investing 22 skill into the Whip skill. It costs 3 MP to use, inflicts the same amount of damage to a single enemy, and has a 13% chance of inflicting paralysis.
Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
Trammel Lash can be learned by Mages, Thieves, Luminaries, Monster Wranglers, and Fortune Tellers by investing 42 points into their Whips skill. It costs 3 MP to use and inflicts 110% damage to a single enemy with a 50% chance of paralysing them for 25 seconds. It has a range of three meters. In this game, Trammel Lash is noteworthy for being able to inflict paralysis even on metal slimes. It is even possible to increases the rate of inflicting paralysis all the way to 100% by investing 180 points into the Whips skill, with the exception of enemies that are immune to paralysis.
- In the Offline version of the game, Trammel Lash can be learned by the Hero as a Mage, Thief, or Luminary and Duston through the Whips panel in their Character Builders for 7 and 5 skill points respectively. It costs 3 MP to use, inflicting 120% damage and having a chance to paralyse a single enemy. The damage and rate of inflicting paralysis can be increased further through skill up panels.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit | edit source]
Trammel Lash can be learned by Veronica and Sylvando through the Whips panel in their Character Builders for 16 and 13 skill points respectively. It costs 5 MP to use and damages a single group of enemies, with the first enemy targeted taking 110% damage, and has a 25% chance to paralyse each enemy.
