This ability is learned with 76 skill points allocated into Staff skill. Each strike is 30% of the character's normal blows, stacking for a potential maximum of 120% for 5 MP.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Serena and Jade learn the ability through the Spears section of their character build, unlocking it for 16 and 18 points respectively. Instead of random targets it now focuses on one target, pulverizing the foe four times at 90% strength for a total of 360% damage.
