Multislice is an ability in the Dragon Quest series.
It damages all enemies in a flurry of blades, functioning as a superior technique to the Roundhouse Kick.
Appearances
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation
Multislice is learned by advancing to rank 4 of the Gladiator vocation. From left to right the damage modifiers are 100%, 80%, 70%, and 50%, and it shares the Rock-element with skills such as Boulder Toss and Knuckle Sandwich.
It is used by the enemies Commander Brutus, Demonrider, Octavian sentry, Zozagel, and Terry (boss).
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
Multislice retains all the properties from the previous game is learned through a variety of vocations in VII, such as rank 7 of the Gladiator, rank 2 of the Champion, rank 8 of the Mandrake Major, rank 6 of the Berserker, and rank 3 of the Slaughtomaton.
It is used by the enemies Automaton and Silver scrapper.

Called RainSlash in the Eidos localization, the skill deals 80%, 60% and 40% damage from left to right and it requires the monster to reach level 15 with 92 HP, 90 Attack and 96 Agility in order to learn it. It is naturally learned by the Armorpion, Centasaur, Esterk, Ogre, Roboster, SkulRider, SlimeBorg, Snapper, StubBird and Swordgon. It can also be learned by monsters with BiAttack and SquallHit.
Dragon Quest Monsters 2
The requirements to learn RainSlash are unchanged nor are the damage modifiers. It is naturally learned by the AxeShark, BeastNite, CancerMan, Dumbira, FishRider, KingSquid and Serpentia. It is no longer naturally learned by the Ogre.
