Caduceus, also known as Staff of Salvation, is a recurring ability in the franchise. It heals a party member for relatively low MP cost.

Appearances

Dragon Quest VIII

Caduceus is a staff technique that both the Jessica and Angelo can learn. It requires 57 skill points by the Jessica, and 48 skill points by Angelo. When used, HP is restored by 70~100 points for no MP cost and is unaffected by the character's tension.

Dragon Quest IX

This ability is learned with 44 skill points invested into the Wand skill, and costs 2 MP to use. It restores one character's HP by 75~95 points.

Dragon Quest XI

Veronica can learn Staff of Salvation for 13 skill points in the Heavy Wand skillset of her character builder, while Rab learns it for 5 skill points. When used, it will restore around 50 HP to a single party member for 4 MP, reaching to a maximum of 150 depending on the user's Magical might, rather than their Magical mending.
