Performing the skill consumes 22 MP causes one enemy and those in its immediate proximity to suffer a minimum of 280~320 damage, with a 30% chance for the target's Earth resistance to be lowered by 25% for 30 seconds. Higher damage is calculated as ''(Magical might-400) x 0.9545 + 280~320'', with a cap of 1,330 to 1,370 at 1,500 magical might. It no longer has a chance to fail when used due to requiring MP.

Magma Blast is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It summons an onslaught of volcanic rock against all enemies, but has a 13 chance to fail when used. It cannot be used at sea.

Magma Blast is learned by advancing to rank 7 of the Armamentalist vocation. It deals 70~85 damage.

The Druid learns the skill at rank 4, and deals 110~120 damage. It is also learned by the well wisher vocation at rank 8.
