CleanCut is a skill exclusive to Dragon Quest Monsters and Dragon Quest Monsters 2. It deals 1.5 times more damage to monsters of the Material family and costs 3 MP to use.

Its Japanese name, Dai setsudan, appears to be a reference to the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Amazon. It is the finishing move of the eponymous hero of the same name and would cleave through the flesh of his opponent in two with ease.
