The Faerie horn is an important item in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.

Given by Treacle to the Hero as repayment for his help, it enables the him to remove the invisible barrier around the Faerie Palace. On a boat (raft in the remakes), the Hero reaches a lily pad in the middle of a moat, blows the horn, and the Faerie Palace is rendered visible and can be accessed.
