==Characteristics==
The saviour staff is topped with a golden figure of an armour-clad hero wielding a sword, with some runes inscribed near the top. The staff ends in a blue crystal. When used as a tool in battle, it will surround the party with a barrier that protects against [[breath attack]]s.

It consumes 3 MP each time an attack is made and casts [[Insulatle]] when used as a tool in battle. In the original Sony PlayStation version, it can be purchased from the final stage of the [[The Haven|Immigrant Town]] for 18,500 gold and sold for 9,250 gold.
* In the Nintendo 3DS version, the saviour staff can be purchased from the weapon shop on the [[Sea Dragon (sailing vessel)|Sea Dragon]] for 37,000 gold and it can be sold for 18,500 gold.
