| Game | Description |
| An odd looking liquid.[1] |
After the Glowering Inferno has been defeated in the depths of the Burnmont, he still promises to bring destruction to the island of Emberdale with a black flame. The flame rises near to the top of the volcano where the Flaming Festival is being held. The party makes their way back and explains the situation to both Palmela and the Gaffer of Emberdale, who pleads with the fortune teller for a way to extinguish the flame. Palmela then has a vision of a grubby man in a grubby room holding a phial of mysterious liquid—the wholly holy water. The man turns out to be Pike, the Hero's uncle, so the party makes a quick journey back to Estard in the present to acquire the phial from him. It is also possible to receive the wholly holy water from Pike right after the events at Ballymolloy, saving the player a trip back to the present. The Hero sprinkles the water over the ball of black flame, causing it to completely disappear and save the people of Emberdale. After using the wholly holy water, the phial becomes empty, requiring the player to fill it again at the Rainbow Cove.
