The Sizeable seashell is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a large shell left behind by a sea creature that is used as a crafting material.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
Sizeable seashells are used as a material for crafting weapons, armour, and furniture or in alchemy to improve the block chance of shields. It can be picked up from sparkly spots or dropped by certain monsters, such as Shell slimes.
Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below[edit | edit source]
Sizeable seashells can be dropped by Bomboulders and Men o' war or received from King Flaminio in exchange for 3 Mini medals each. It can be used to create Pink pearl rings and the quick recipe for the Titan belt in the Alchemy Pot or sold for 21 gold. Three sizeable seashells, along with two Mirrorstones, are required to complete Quest #51: Seven Years' Bad Luck.
Dragon Quest Heroes II[edit | edit source]
Sizeable seashells are used as a material to improve various accessories or can be sold for 21 gold. It can be dropped by Men o' war and Mandrake marauders.
