The jugular joker is a monster that was introduced in Dragon Quest VI.
Jovial jesters that love to slash and swipe at weakened foes with their terrible sai knives. Dressed in crimson clobber like a traditional entertainer, these monsters are actually rather secretly sadistic and love to prey on helpless parties, even going as far as casting Kasnooze to knock all enemies out of action and using Oomph to outrageously up their attacks. They are notable for being one of the only two practitioners of Ban Dance among the monster population.
