Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies Fan Trivia Contest
As part of the North American promotion of Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies, Nintendo of America sponsored the Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies Fan Trivia Contest. According to the promotion's materials, 200 loyal Dragon Quest fans were invited to participate in the contest, which ran from June 11, 2010 to June 25, 2010. The promotion consisted of three prize periods, each one posing a trivia question to a diminishing number of participants, as eligibility in each sucessive prize period required a correct and timely answer to the prior week's trivia question.
