Cumulonimbough is an item that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest XI. It is an exquisite tree branch with leaves in the shape of cloud formations that is used as a crafting ingredient for rare and powerful pieces of equipment.

Cumulonimboughs can be picked up from sparkly spots at Insula Centralis*, the Path to Trial Isle, and the Eerie Valley in the postgame or dropped by Malicious jowlers and Malicious fruity succubats. It can be sold for 500 gold.

Its name is a play on cumulonimbus clouds, a type of cloud with a tall structure and a flat base that is often associated with thunderstorms.
