The Archmage's garb top has a Defence bonus of +39, a Style bonus of +18, a Magical Might bonus of +43, and a Weight bonus of +6. It has an equipment level of 65 and can be equipped by a Mage, Armamentalist, Sage, Fortune Teller, Druid, Death Master, or Dragomancer. The robe can be crafted with sewing and the entire set consists of the top and bottom, the hat, bracelets, and shoes. If all five pieces are equipped, the wearer gains a max MP and Magical Might bonus of +10, as well as an extra +35 bonus to Style.

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow[edit | edit source]
The Archmage's Garb (Top) has a Defence bonus of +11 and a Magical Defence bonus of +18 at level 1. Its starting Boons are Elemental Killer +5%, Magical Damage +5%, and Staff Ice Damage +5%. The robe can be acquired randomly from any transmuter.
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bonds[edit | edit source]
Known as Sorcerer's Robe (Top) in this game, it is a 4★ upper body outfit that can be equipped by Mage, Priest, and Sage characters. At level 35, it has a Physical Defence bonus of +151, a Magical Defence bonus of +168, increases Shadow resistance by 6, but reduces Light resistance by 2. It comes equipped with Robe (Top) Trait I Lv. 3, which lowers the target's Fire Resistance temporarily by 15% when a skill with a stock of 2 or higher hits. The robe could be acquired randomly from limited Treasure Hunts.
