The Gusterang has an Attack bonus of +26, a Style bonus of +5, and a Weight bonus of +3. It turns normal attacks and non-elemental skills into wind-elemental attacks. It has an equipment level of 28 and can be equipped by a Sage, Ranger, Item Master, Gadabout, Pirate, or Hermit. The boomerang can be crafted by a weapon blacksmith. Starting with Version 6.2, the amount of materials to make one were reduced, making it easier to craft. Previously, it required five lumps of Silver ore, three Mirrorstones, and a Flurry feather.

Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]
The Gusterang has an Attack bonus of +26, a Charm bonus of +5, and deals wind-elemental damage when attacking. It can only be equipped by the Hero as a Ranger, Sage, or Gadabout. The boomerang can be purchased for 810 gold from the traveler's bazaar or crafted with the Fun-Size Forge. The recipe book can be dropped rarely by Terrornodon.

The Gusterang has an Attack bonus of +27, a Blocking bonus of +6, and can only be equipped by Isla. It can be purchased for 2,650 gold on the Stonecloud after the events at Caliburgh.

The Gusterang has an Attack bonus of +29 and can be equipped by Maribel. It is part of her initial equipment when she joins the party. The boomerang can be purchased for 2,000 gold from the weapon merchant at Accordia.
Dragon Quest Smash/Grow[edit | edit source]
The Gusterang is a 2★ Wind-elemental boomerang with an Attack bonus of +36 at level 1. Its Coup de Grâce is Tornado Toss and its Enchantment is Woosh Spheres. Its starting Boon is Attack +4. The boomerang can be acquired randomly from any transmuter.
