Fangs were a recurring type of weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise from the fifth game to the seventh. This weapon was mainly used by monsters, with a few exceptions.
Beginning with the eighth game and Level-5's focus on weapon-based skills, fangs were phased out of the series.
