List of knife skills in Dragon Quest IX

The following are knife skills in Dragon Quest IX. Knife skills can be learned via the Warrior, Mage, and Thief classes.

Toxic Dagger

A swift strike that envenomates an enemy. Costs 2 MP to use.

An attack that deals heavy damage to bugs.

Does heavy damage to enemies that have been poisoned or paralyzed.

An attack that may instantly kill a target. Costs 3 MP to use.

A knife attack that hurts the enemy and heals the user. Costs 4 MP to use.

Does heavy damage to enemies that are confused or asleep. Requires the 'Knifing Know-How' in a character's inventory to use.

Enables the character to use knives with any vocation.
