The following are knife skills in Dragon Quest IX. Knife skills are available to the Warrior, Mage, and Thief classes.

Toxic Dagger

Costs: 2 MP

A swift strike that envenomates an enemy.

Costs: 0 MP

An attack that deals heavy damage to monsters in the "Bug" family.

Cost: 0 MP

Does heavy damage to enemies that have been poisoned or paralyzed.

A knife attack that hurts the enemy and heals the user.

Allows the character to equip Knife family weapons regardless of their current vocation.
