The Liquid metal helm (originally Helm of the Lone Metal Slime) is a helmet in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest IV

The liquid metal helmet has a defence bonus of +50, and protects against confusion, paralysis, and sleep. It is obtained from the casino for 100,000 in the immigrant town or from a Metal king slime.

Dragon Quest IX

The liquid metal helm has a defence bonus of +37, a style bonus of +45, and a three star rarity. It also decreases the chance of the wearer being effected by Snooze, Whack, and Fizzle by twenty percent. Warriors, Minstrels, Gladiators, Paladins, Armamentalists, and Luminaries can equip it. It can be sold for 17,500 gold. Its in game description is "Priceless protection packed with the power of liquid metal slimes." It is created using the alchemy recipe of: Metal slime helm x1+ Orichalcum x1+ Slimedrop x6.

Dragon Quest Swords

The liquid metal helm is obtained from King Latem the first time he is defeated.
