Hero (Dragon Quest X)

The Hero of Dragon Quest X is a male or female born in the village Etene, along with a sibling. The Hero is initially a human, but after Nelgel, the Lord of Hell and his attack the village, and kidnaps the Hero's sibling, the Hero is killed in an explosion. Their soul is later reincarnated into five different races based on the player's choice: Ogre, Dwarf, Elf, Popper, and a Wetling.
