List of sword skills in Dragon Quest IX

The following are Sword skills in Dragon Quest IX. Sword skills can be learned via Minstrel, Warrior, Thief, Gladiator, and Armamentalist classes.

Dragon Slash

An attack that only deals heavy damage to dragons.

An attack that can damage enemies with metal bodies. It deals one extra point of damage.

Heals the user's own wounds when it hits.

A double slicing attack, faster than a falcon on the wing.

A technique for cutting down a group of enemies. Deals lightning damage.

A technique for cutting down a group of enemies. Deals lightning damage. Requires the 'Swordcraft in Summary' in a character's inventory to use.

Enables the character to use swords with any vocation.
