The following are spellcraft skills in Dragon Quest IX. Spellcraft skills are only available to the Mage class.

Wizard Ward

Costs: 5 MP

Creates a barrier that protects the caster from magic.

Spooky Aura

Costs: 6 MP

Reduces an enemy's resistance to magic.

Focus Pocus

Costs: 3 MP

Restores a bit of MP every turn for a good bit of turns.

Channel Anger

Costs: 5 MP

Increases the users magical might by a lot (two levels).
