Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The spear's design and name in Japanese is reminiscent of the Green Dragon Crescent Blade, a legendary weapon wielded by the Chinese general Guan Yu in the 14th-century historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It is a guandao, which is a type of Chinese polearm similar to a Japanese naginata or a European fauchard.
