The metal slime armour is a powerful suit of armour that first appeared in Dragon Quest IX. It features an emblem of a metal slime on the waist and allows the wearer to shrug off elemental damage like its namesake. It is part of a set that includes the liquid metal armour and metal king armour, and in the ninth game is part of an alchemical upgrade chain.
