The party dress is a recurring piece of clothing in the Dragon Quest series. It is a fancy red dress that can only be worn by female characters and provides a surprising amount of protection.

Appearances

Dragon Quest III

The party dress has a defence bonus of +40 and can only be worn by thieves and gadabouts. One can be found in Edina and in Cantlin. It only appears in the remakes.

Dragon Quest VII

The party dress has a defence bonus of +40 and a style bonus of +48. It can only be equipped by Maribel and Aishe. They can be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Casino.
