The Vial creature is a monster that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest VII. It is a liquor bottle that has become animated by evil magic. Its name is a play on the term "vile creature".
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Powerful purple floating bottles, packed full of evil and blight, just waiting to pour out all over anyone unfortunate enough to be in their path. These wild and wicked monsters can bring down any adventurer with the woeful Whack spell, causing instant death. They're so fast that they can strike twice in a single turn, spewing forth vile vapours that poison parties of adventurers and summoning Sculpture vultures to help protect their brittle bottle-like bodies from being broken.
