The Tower of Transcendence is a tower dungeon in Dragon Quest III. It is an optional dungeon located north of Dharma Temple. It contains a treasure chest holding the Zen Book which is required for classes other than Jester to become a Sage. In the original NES version, this is the only such item in the game.
