The silk tuxedo, also known as the silk tux, is a fancy, if not particularly strong, piece of clothing in the Dragon Quest series. It can only be worn by male characters.

The Silk tuxedo has a defence bonus of +10 and a style bonus of +40. It is dropped by Blackmar. It can be bought for 500 coins at the Port Haven Casino and can be sold for 2625 gold. This is the best way to get quick gold early on in the game.
Dragon Quest VII
The silk tuxedo has a defence bonus of +10 and a style bonus of +40. It can be equipped by the Hero, Kiefer, and Sir Mervyn. It can be bought for 3500 gold, and sold for 1750.
