It is a minor improvement over the normal boomerang created through alchemy, meant to serve as a stopgap until more powerful 'rangs are available.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit | edit source]
The reinforced boomerang has an Attack bonus of +32. It can be made using the recipe of boomerang + iron nail, and is one of the first recipes that the player is encouraged to experiment with after gaining the Alchemy Pot in Peregrin Quay, as the first iron nail in the game is given to the party by a retired thief in the dock bar.
It is also an item that can be traded to Dodgy Dave in Pickham.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit | edit source]
