The Plateau of Rhone is a general region in south central Expanded Alefgard. It is the final region visited in Dragon Quest II.

Geography

The plateau is only accessible via the Cave to Rhone. The entire region is surrounded by impassable mountains. It is also the only region of Dragon Quest II to feature snow.

The plateau of Rhone is home to Hargon's Castle and the Shrine of Rhone. These 2 locations are the final places visited in Dragon Quest II. As a result, the plateau is home to the strongest outerworld monsters in Dragon Quest II.
