Appearances
Dragon Quest IV
The Liquid metal armour has a defence bonus of +95. It can be purchased at a building at Endor which requires having the Magic Key for entry. It can be purchased for 35,000 (15,000 in the NES Version) gold. The liquid metal armour can be equipped by the Hero, Ragnar, Kiryl, Torneko, Meena, and Psaro.
Dragon Quest VIII
The Liquid metal armour has a defence bonus of +101 and reduces non-Zap spell damage by 33%. All characters can equip it. The PS2 version of the game erroneously states that it reduces damage taken from curses by ⅔ rather than magic spells.
