The gothic vestment is a piece of clothing introduced in the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII. It is a sacred white vestment decorated with a holy symbol.
Details
The gothic vestment has a defence bonus of +72 and increases the wearer's base evasion to 25%. It can only be equipped by the Hero. When worn together with the gothic mitre, it changes the Hero's appearance. The gothic vestment is obtained as a reward from completing the Tyrantosaurus Stamp Card from Cameron's Codex.
