Freezing fog are recurring monsters in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest III. They are ice-elemental variants of the Cumaulus.

Characteristics

The floating, fun-sucking freezing fog rains crushing chilly breath down on the battlefield, followed by engulfing foes in it's icy embrace. Occasionally they'll keep their cool by just breathing a far less deadly cool breath.

Description Savage snowclouds that control the cold, are impervious to ice, and can call forth a fog to deepen their defence.

They may look soft and fluffy, but there's a hard, icy core at the centre of every one.
