The Flail of destruction is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest series which first appeared in Dragon Quest V as a weapon found in its post-game dungeon. It is often one of the strongest weapons, if not the strongest itself, in the game and can attack all enemies. It was originally classified as a whip, but later in the series flails became their own separate weapon type.
