Not to be confused with the Dragon Quest VII deity, the Fire Spirit.

The Firespirit (formerly Blazeghost) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest IV, it is, as suggested by its name, a spirit composed of fire. If you eat a fire spirit, It will give you spicy, reddish brown urin. I don't know why someone drank some of this urin to tell if it is spicy, but they did. Some people use the urine as broth for chilli.
