Burrowell is a city located in southeastern Torland in Dragon Quest II. Despite appearing on the world map, the city located almost entirely underground.
Overview
Burrowell holds many critical items from completing the game. The armor shop also sells the best equipment which can be purchased in Dragon Quest II.
Entrance
In order to enter the burrow, the heroes must possess the Golden Key to open the door which leads down to the city.
Jailers Key
The Jailers Key can be purchased in Burrowell at the item shop. Within the list of items for sale is a blank line where an item would normally appear. Selecting this line will trigger the shop keeper to sell the key. This is hinted by a towns-person within Burrowell.
Floodgate Key
The Floodgate key is also located in the town. Using the Jailer's Key to open a prison cell in one of the buildings. The heroes find a hidden passage way at the back of the cell. Within the passage way, the heroes find Lagos who gives them the key.
