The Yggdrasil sapling is a knick-knack in Dragon Quest V. Tended by the Zenithians, it is entrusted to the hero after Zenithia's flight system is restored.
After obtaining the aspersorium in Mt. Zugzwang, it can be used to water the sapling. Once grown, it can be watered to obtain yggdrasil leaves.
