The Tower of Transcendence is a tower dungeon in Dragon Quest III. It is an optional dungeon located north of Alltrades Abbey. It contains a treasure chest holding the Words of Wisdom which is required for vocations other than the Gadabout to become a Sage. In the original NES version, this is the only location of the scroll.
