Superior medicine is an advanced healing item in the Dragon Quest series. The superior medicine usually restores around 60 to 70 HP to a single party member. In games where Alchemy appears, it can be created by combining either three medicinal herbs together or a strong medicine and a medicinal herb. In some games, they can also be found by examining sparkly spots on the map, as well.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

Known as rose-root in this game, it will restore around 70 HP to a single party member. One can be found in a pot the Herb Grotto, although most will be made in the Alchemy Pot.
