Slime earrings

The slime earrings, also known simply as pierce, are accessories in the Dragon Quest series.

Appearances

Dragon Quest III

The slime earrings have no bonuses to speak of, but give the wearer the Socialite personality. They can be equipped by all characters and can be purchased in Kol for 950 gold. They only appear in remake versions of the game.

Dragon Quest VII

The slime earrings have an attack bonus of +1 and a style bonus of +8. They can be equipped by all characters and can be purchased at the Pilgrim's Rest inn. Slime earrings can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Casino.

Dragon Quest VIII

The slime earrings provide a defence bonus of +4. They can be equipped by all characters. One set can be found after the checkpoint between Farebury and Alexandria.

Trivia

• The heroes of Dragon Quest IV are seen wearing the slime earrings in their artwork. Depending on the artist, the male hero either wears the earrings in both ears or only one of them.
