The Powder keg (originally Gunpowder Jar) is a key item in Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen.
Story
Maya and Meena Mahabala obtain the Powder keg from the miners within the Mine of Mamon. They use it to scare the Chancellor of Palais de Leon into revealing the secret location of the King.
