Trivia

  • In the Japanese version, the Killing machine's first default name, Robin (ロビン, Robin), would go on to be reused as a name for other Killing machines that can be recruited into the player's party. Robin 2 appears as the first default name of the Overkilling machine recruit in the Super Famicom version of Dragon Quest VI.
  • Roborg and Cybot are the names of two infamous Killing machines that can be recruited in Dragon Quest VIII.
  • Roboster's name is derived from the localized name of the Killing machine enemy used for games released between 2000 and 2001.
