Erdrick's sword is the fabled blade wielded by the mythical Hero, passed on to his descendants to keep the realm of Alefguard free from terror. It is a one-handed longsword with a golden center and hilt that resembles a phoenix, set with a red gemstone. The grip appears to be a blue fabric, and the counter weight is a gold sphere encasing a red jewel. Prior to becoming part of the legendary Hero's heraldry, this blade was known as the sword of kings.
